More McD’s with The Tasty Burger Co. in Reading today

HALAL STATUS Fully Halal

Reading will be joining this country’s burgeoning Halal McD’s club with the launch of The Tasty Burger Co. on Oxford Road later today.

Bringing “all the popular McDonald’s burgers, but all Halal”, the 24-cover eatery will be launching at noon and looking to “make a change in the halal fast food world”.

Founded by four “brothers”, three of whom met during the Hajj pilgrimage, The Tasty Burger Co. is giving away free burgers to the first 50 customers, with further deals throughout the day.

To grab your free burger, all you have to do is follow them on Instagram (@tastyburgerco) and tag a friend (limited to one per customer and on a first-come first-serve basis).

This latest iteration joins the growing line of similar joints such as Slamburger in Birmingham and London’s Walthamstow, as well as places like Bim’s, Pit Stop, and Hungry House.

The Tasty Burger Co. is also part of the Eat Out To Help Out government campaign with 50% off from Monday to Wednesday for the last two remaining weeks this month.
